I have been so busy just doing the business end; then figuring out displays; making jewelry and a having my jewelry on consignment for the past month, I haven't had time to keep up on my blog. I also wanted to get a blog started for Purple Lady Designs-obviously that did not happen yet! New Years resolution: Set up new blog! While surfing I came across this sight and was very impressed with the way Dawn came up with a clever way to display earrings. Check it out the link!

I have recently started my business "Purple Lady Designs". The reason it has been born again is the history behind the name. Years ago I worked at Avondale School District as a Teachers Assistant. The students didn't know my name, and since my wardrobe at the time consisted of mainly purple I was named "The Purple Lady"! Thanks to all those wonderful students for my inspiration to name my business after happy memories of them!! Look for a new blog coming soon!!

Today I have been busy looking up all the blogs I follow. I've found new ones with tutorials! I'm in heaven! There are so many tallented artists out there! The Flint Farmers Market has crafters there and adopt-a-pet-I'm going to have to go check this out. They can be found at www.cityofgrandblanc.com under the News/Events Tab listed as Farmers Market. I received my shipment of beads and crystals so I better get busy! Good Bye for now.

Today I am busy working on my jewelry. The weather outside is rainy and cloudy but I can't put down my work! Excitement? I think I just love making beautiful things! Uncle Walt is coming in today from Dallas for the week. I'll go over to Mom and Dad's later to visit with them. Back to work ....:)
